It took a very long time for me to find God because I was looking in all the wrong places. I looked to myself, my job, my career, alcohol and a lot of other places where in all honesty God would not go. Over the years I had done bible study on my own, with the LDS (Mormons) and with Seventh-day Adventist Herb Stratton. My wife became an Adventist in 1973 after studying with Herb. It took me another 20 years to finally see the light. Because of my wife and family I had contact with the Adventist church throughout those 20 years. Finally in 1993 I felt the Holy Spirit moving within me after I visited Pastor Gary Gibbs at his church in Montgomery Alabama. I knew what I had to do. Pastor Raposo lead our church in Olivehurst California, with his help and studying with him I finally made my commitment to the Lord and was baptized. Since joining the church I have been truly blessed. Not that I wasn't before with my wife and children, but blessed in other ways. More opportunities for study and spreading the "Good News" have fallen into place. Within our local church I have truly enjoyed being the adult Sabbath school instructor. As an elder and later head elder I have had the opportunity to speak in our church and others of how God has worked in my life as well as help spread the gospel. In the Favorites page I have included a link to our local church as well as a few others you may find of interest, or just click on this link http://ncsda.tripod.com Here I have placed links to several sermons I did recently. You can either download the MP3 file or there is a link to a zip file of the outlines of the sermons. I do not claim that any of these are original material, I have utilized several sources to develop my sermons here are a few of them this is not however an all inclusive list.
Here are the sermons
I hope you find these sermons a blessing.
