The top row are the items I fused today. The ribbons
are more pink than you can see in the pictures. The gold on the black background
is a gold decal. The boy sitting on the fence is made from two pieces of
clear glass one with a layer of dicro-slid and the other with a decal I'm very
happy with them all.
The second row are things I made either by myself (the copper
butterfly and the two white squares) the rest were cut and prepared by me but
fired by someone else. The blue and white plate has several copper leaves
between the clear top layer and the blue and white bottom layer. The effect I
was trying to achieve is that of leaves on water. The problem I encountered in
the firing is there is a LOT of air around the leaves. The next are two
pendants with copper leaves enclosed. I'm very happy with both of them.
The Two ribbons on the end are made from the same material as the ones I fired
on top. The process was supposed to be to tack fuse the ribbons to the
backing. The problem I see is the edges never rounded and the gold decal on the
black backed ribbon did not come out the way I wanted it to.
