Yes,  these are pictures of the same person taken about 18 months apart.  The first is me before retirement and the second, well you can guess when it was taken.

When I first started taking photos I was fascinated with the flexibility of black and white.  The focus on the subject and composition as opposed to focus on the color.  I think some of my best photos were done when I first started.
